  3. Remove outerwear (e.g., coats, sweaters, trench coats), hats, and shoes, then place them in the tray along with other carry-on items.

Common questions about security screening

What documents do I need to prepare when going through security?

You should have your boarding pass, valid ID, and any additional documents ready to present to the security staff.

Are there any restrictions for carry-on luggage?

Yes. Certain items are prohibited in carry-on luggage, such as sharp objects, improperly packed liquids, damaged batteries, or flammable/explosive substances.
You should carefully check the restricted or prohibited items list before heading to the airport to avoid being denied boarding.

Yes, you may be asked to remove shoes, jackets, hats, and any metal items for inspection if necessary.

What should I pay attention to with electronic devices?

Laptops, tablets, and cameras should be taken out of bags and placed in separate trays. Power banks and lithium batteries must also be screened separately.

How long does the security screening process take?

Typically 5–10 minutes if well prepared. During peak hours it may take longer, so arrive early to avoid missing your flight.
