In case passengers do not receive their baggage, or notice any unusual signs such as tears, breakage, or tampering, they should immediately inform the airline representative or ground service unit for timely support and resolution.

Common questions about lost baggage

What should I do if I discover my baggage is lost?

You should immediately go to the nearest Lost & Found counter to report the loss and provide the necessary information. Staff will assist you in contacting the airline and tracking the baggage search process.

What if my baggage is damaged or has missing items inside?

You have the right to request compensation according to the airline’s regulations and the Civil Aviation Law of Vietnam. Please keep all relevant documents for filing a claim.

Can I report lost baggage by phone or email?

Yes. You can call +84 28 xxx xxxx or send an email to lostfound@ltia.vn to report it. However, visiting the Lost & Found counter in person will help process the case faster and more accurately.

What if I have already left the airport without reporting my lost baggage?

You can still report it after leaving the airport. Contact the Lost & Found counter by phone or email, or submit an online report through the airline’s website. The sooner you report, the higher the chance of recovering your baggage.
