With its wing-shaped design, the passenger terminal stretches across a large area. Although one-way moving walkways have been installed from the central area to the wings, which are very convenient, passengers needing to move in the opposite direction face a rather long walking distance — especially challenging for passengers with reduced mobility, the elderly, children, and pregnant women. To support passengers, Long Thanh International Airport has invested in and organized a free electric cart service within the restricted area.
